Rise and Shine – it’s breakfast time !

With Seminyak literally overflowing with breakfast choices, the Seminyak Snob is here to fill you in and fill you up on the best brekky spots – from pink coloured coffees to poached organic eggs with creamed corn, we’ve got your back when it comes to your belly. Here are some of our favourite spots to ensure your day starts the right way.

Neon Palms

Oh, how I love this place, its bright, it’s fun and the breakfast menu is damm fine! Neon Palms is Seminyak’s newest hot spot on the breakfast / brunch scene and we can absolutely see why. The menu is made for sharing and that’s great, because you will want to try every single thing; Kale stuffed roasted portabello mushrooms with pecorino green tomato chutney and poached egg, avo on toast with halloumi, shaved ricotta, heirloom tomato and dukkah, butter fried eggs with creamed corn and crispy bacon …. Mouth watering yet? Be sure to put this cool and colourful café on your breakfast dining list!

Kynd Community

This pretty in pink go to café is fast becoming a favourite for all. Kynd is dishing up a vegan menu and boy does it taste so good. Serving up smoothie bowls almost too pretty to eat, this cruelty free café is showing us all that plant based foods are anything but bland and boring. Try their paradise pancakes or the sunny side up burger, filled with hash browns, coconut bacon, avocado, rocket, tomato, onion, aioli and topped with the kynd special sauce all sitting in a fresh ciabatta. Hello, you had me at avocado. The juices are filled with boosters and extra super-duper power potions can be added to the smoothies. Everything on the menu sounds too delicious to be true, but I promise you Kynd Community is showing us just how good cruelty free can be. Coffee Cartel It would be a crime to come to Seminyak and not stop by this boutique breakfast hot spot. Coffee is their speciality, with the beetroot, turmeric and charcoal lattes proving to be more insta famous than Kudeta, they not only look good, they are a creamy colourful taste sensation. The Big Brekky starring two eggs done anyway, with bacon, pulled pork, spinach, oven dried tomatoes and avo on toast, is sure to set you up for the day or cure any aftermath from the night before.

Kim Soo

I need to confess something, I have two addictions, homewares and eating and Kim Soo Bali have got my back. Known island wide for her boho, chic, ethnic island treasures, this cool location has upped the ante and added a café, meaning you can kill two birds with one stone, retail therapy and ricotta pancakes all in the one spot! We love all the delicious delicacies on offer here, French toast, Lamingtons, a brekkie fry up and Seminyak’s first bagel bar! If homewares and brunching are your thing Kim Soo will look after both appetites.

It’s no secret that the star of the Yak, KU DE TA is my local, I think I have spent more time here than in my own villa This beautiful Seminyak spot famous for its spectacular sunsets is also very well known for its exceptional food. Open from early morning until late at night, this beachfront beauty also serves up a nourishing breakfast with a menu full of traditional & scrumptious selections; smashed avo, eggs Florentine, the kudeta big breakfast, and my personal favourite Green Eggs, starring spinach butter, asparagus, prosciutto and green peas. Yumm ! Breakfast at Ku really hits the spot, situated right on Seminyak beach, you will dawdle your way thru your eggs and juice and more than likely end up staying for lunch, with those beautiful blue Bali views and plus, it’s the best people watching place on the island. Bring your bathers as you will no doubt stay for the day and the pool is too cool to say no to.
